Applicable Law

ShopMixMax operates under the laws of Finland and the European Union, including but not limited to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (kuluttajansuojalaki), the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – Regulation 2016/679).

Consumer Rights

As a consumer purchasing from ShopMixMax, you are entitled to the following rights under Finnish and EU law:

14-day right of withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without providing any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Return shipping: In the event of withdrawal, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Refund timeline: Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item or proof of return shipment.
Defective or incorrect items: You are entitled to a replacement or full refund for items that are damaged, defective, or not as described.

Tax and Customs Policy

European and International Orders: ShopMixMax does not collect or remit VAT, customs duties, or import taxes at checkout for shipments to Europe or other international destinations. Any local taxes, customs duties, import VAT, clearance fees, or similar charges imposed by the destination country's authorities are the sole responsibility of the customer upon delivery.

United States Orders: In compliance with U.S. state laws, applicable sales taxes may be automatically calculated, collected, and remitted at checkout by our platform provider (Shopify). If sales tax applies to your order, the exact amount will be clearly displayed during the checkout process before payment.

Pricing and Payment Terms

Prices posted in our online stores may be different from prices offered in physical stores or in online or other stores operated by third parties. We may offer, from time to time, promotions on the Services that may affect pricing and that are governed by terms and conditions separate from these Terms. If there is a conflict between the terms for a promotion and these Terms, the promotion terms will govern.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase, payment, and account information for all purchases made at our stores. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address, credit card numbers, and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

You represent and warrant that:

The credit card information you provide is true, correct, and complete;
You are duly authorized to use such credit card for the purchase;
Charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company; and
You will pay all amounts due in connection with your order, including the product price, shipping charges (if applicable), and any applicable taxes, customs duties, clearance fees, or other charges.

Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at info@shopmixmax.com. We aim to resolve all disputes within 14 days.

If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) at www.kuluttajariitalautakunta.fi or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Intellectual Property

All content on the ShopMixMax website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and product descriptions, is the property of ShopMixMax or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any content is strictly prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

ShopMixMax shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
